RESIST SPRITUAL DEATH ZINE

A zine discussing sobriety as a tool in the revolution against poverty and systematic racism, how the war on drugs was actually a way against the black way of life, how spiritual death is encouraged by substances. As well as giving a view of straight edge that is critical of all aspects of white supremacy and classism.  This zine is made up of historical recounts, essay, critique, poetry, and art. I wanted to make a personal statement on way exactly I am straight edge, how how I believe the movement is part of how I keep my sprit alive. All art is by me minus a piece on the 6th page by the black panther party. Photos from TIME magazine, Vogue, Getty images, and marxists.org were also used.
